Choosing this path...

It's about giving back in gratitude. 15-years ago I was 60 pounds overweight with an unclear direction. I chose to go all in after witnessing a close family member in medical crisis. My initial transformation took about 3-years of true grit. The active lifestyle and hope for a better day brought me back day-after-day. During this time I was introduced to amazingly influential people. I still often hear their words echo as I enter the next workout.

The hidden gem lies in our preparation. Perseverance and determination can define our past, present and future. If we open our minds to what can be, then our paths open to new opportunities and passionate lifestyles. That means everything when pioneering authentic, joyful lives for ourselves and shaping the world around us.

As an Orthopedic Surgeon who has trained with Curtis for a number of years, I've been struck by his impressive understanding of Human Kinesiology and the varied exercise regimens he uses to maximize outcomes. Curtis has also trained my young adult sons, and I've really appreciated the time he takes to individualize training elements depending on who he is working with. For me, I've been thankful that Curtis has been able to get me through the standard aches and pains of middle age strains and a number of injuries by a combination of his resourcefulness, skill, common sense and intellect. In my opinion, Curtis is the benchmark against which all other trainers should be measured.

Curtis has provided me a type of training like no other. I have had trainers do one type of workout for all clients. Curtis tailors each workout to the client's needs. He has shown me moves that look simple, yet are some of the hardest exercises I have ever done to help improve my glutes & low back and overall core strength. He has also improved my posture by teaching me things I can do with him and at home. I am an avid exerciser and adding Curtis into my training has kept me injury free and stronger than ever!
